Sisley

These two images are from Sisleys ad campaign made by advertising company Zoo Advertising, Shanghai, China and Art directed by Stephen Zou.

The adverts depict the increased obsession for clothes, where by the consumption of clothes is much like the taking of drugs or alcohol, hence ‘Fashion junkie’. The picture on the left shows two glamorous women consuming the ‘red wine’ which is actually a piece of clothing, and in the picture on the right, the women are seen snorting the straps from a vest top, signifying drug taking. I love these adverts because it shows 21st century society in it’s true form. Clothes, being skinny, big boobs, are all obsessions which women these days have, and I think these images really bring that to life.
